Who We Are
We believe that innovative use of leading technologies can provide basic needs to households that cannot gain access to the National Electricity Grid, or are not able to afford to do so. Such innovation is also able to provide emergency lighting to the massive South African domestic market within an environment of ever increasingly unreliable power supply. Besides the provision of such a basic service as lighting, we are also able to drastically reduce the amount of power utilised, and even contribute to making homes and businesses independent of the Grid supply for lighting.
This will not only contribute to the overall solution to global warming and climate change, but can result in significant savings for users. These systems can also reduce an average home and small business’s carbon footprint by as much as 25%.
Our aim is to ultimately be the provider of choice cost effective, energy efficient and very low impact lighting solutions to the South African domestic, SMME and small commercial markets, while simultaneously being the single largest provider of affordable lighting to the low cost and informal housing sector.
